FIS is a leading global provider of technology solutions for merchants, banks and capital markets firms, and is a Fortune 500 company and a member of Standard & Poor’s 500 Index. FIS’s Investran solution is regarded by many as the pre-eminent solution for private equity and venture capital fund accounting and administration.
The FIS Impact Awards are independently judged and recognise organisations that use FIS technology in innovative ways to enhance customer experiences and drive tangible business results. FIS has given awards to ten organisations across the globe and across all markets and all FIS technology solutions – Impact Award.
Mainspring’s award is for innovation, in this instance for developing a new customer relationship management capability within the FIS Investran and Data Exchange solution to provide Mainspring’s fund managers with reporting and analysis that is focused on the investor relationship as well as the legal investing entities and thereby provide a consolidated, relationship-level view of track records and performance across multiple investment entities, funds and investment strategies.
Commenting on the award, Neil Clark, Mainspring’s COO, said “It’s great to be recognised for our innovation by the judges. Some of the ideas for our innovations come from within Mainspring, others like this originate from discussions with clients. To Mainspring’s clients I would add, watch this space there’s more service and technology innovations to flow over the coming months with a particular emphasis on transparency.”
In addition to winning the accolade, the award also comes with a $10,000 donation to charity, for which Mainspring have selected LIV Village.
With respect to the donation of $10,000 to LIV Village, Neil added “There are many many worthwhile charities and especially so during the Covid-19 pandemic. LIV is particularly close to my heart having grown up relatively close to, raised funds for and visited the first village outside Durban, South Africa. Security, shelter, water, food, education, pastoral, health and much more – it takes a community to raise a child. LIV provides orphaned and vulnerable children with holistic care, to raise and release the leaders of tomorrow.”
Being informed of the award and donation for LIV, Tich Smith, Founder of LIV commented, “LIV is so grateful for any donation and want to extend our thank you to FIS and Mainspring for this generous contribution towards the work we do here. We aim to rescue children, restore lives, raise leaders and release stars and will never be able to do this unless we have partners and donors who support us financially.”
