
Rob joined Mainspring in June 2021 with over 20 years experience in relationship management within the financial services industry. He builds and maintains strong relationships with our nominee custody clients by gaining and using their feedback through regular dialogue and review meetings. He previously had roles at an IFA and The Share Centre where he helped develop their tax advantaged administration division.

Chris leads the Custody and Nominee team and is responsible for its day-to-day custody and nominee operations provided to Mainspring’s client. He has previously led back and middle office supporting teams trading a diverse range of assets including derivatives, equities, OEIC funds, bonds and emerging markets. A Greenbelt Six Sigma champion Chris has also attained CISI qualifications for Share Plans and Investment Operations.

Sabbir is an ACCA qualified accountant and leads the Private Equity team and is responsible for its day-to-day operations including fund reporting. Prior to joining Mainspring, he worked with two leading Fund Administrators on various Private Equity and Real Estate funds.

Damian joined Mainspring in 2011 to head up client services. He previously had roles managing the production of investment accounting on Aviva’s UK and European Real Estate assets for JP Morgan and on one of the UK’s largest pension funds for Bank of New York Mellon. Damian also spent time at GM Asset Management, BT and Augentius.

Sabina joined Mainspring in January 2022 as the Chief Compliance Officer & Legal Counsel. Her previous regulatory roles have been at Cantor Fitzgerald,
GE Asset Management Ltd, then as Head of Compliance, Legal and Risk at Maxis Investments Limited and most recently as Legal Counsel & Compliance Manager at Charles Taylor Investment Management Company Limited.

Neil joined Mainspring in December 2015 as Chief Operating Officer. Previously, Neil was group integration and commercial assurance director for Easynet (an Equistone & LDC backed business). In addition, Neil has held sales management, CFO and CEO roles in technology businesses backed by Albion, Apax & IPC. Neil is a Chartered Accountant, having qualified with Deloitte in 1998.
